DMVF’s hard work pays off yet again at the Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2018 as we won House Extension Refurbishment of the Year for our Riverside Project.
We are absolutely delighted to announce our award for House Extension Refurbishment of the Year 2018. We would also like to offer a huge congratulations to all of the other extremely talented candidates.
As you know, our Camden project won the House Extension Refurbishment award for ‘Another Level Living’ last year. However, this year we took home gold for ‘External Living’ within the same category for our Riverside project.
Located in Dublin, External Living began in 2015 and was completed in 2016. The clients had recently bought a 230sqm typical suburban 1940’s detached house with a large south facing garden. The house was transformed into a 360sqm modern spacious family home which responds to the path of the sun. Living spaces are organised around a south-facing external living space. Stonework & a solid bronze stair handrail reflect the skill of local craftsmen.
