DMVF Architects were featured in the Property section of the Sunday Independent on the 19th of April 2020. The full-page article entitled: ‘Lockdown Lessons – 12 Predictions for the Post-Pandemic Home’ looks at potential changes that we may see in homes as result of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
We were delighted to contribute our thoughts on what lessons can be learned from this lockdown and offer our predictions on probable post-pandemic housing trends. Some of the projections within the article include: an increase in the importance of energy efficiency, a surge in attic or garage conversions and a greater need for soundproofing as many of us may continue to work from home.
